PLANNING PERMISSIONS

In certain circumstances it may be necessary to obtain planning permission from the local authority. This is often the case when building a conservatory (though not necessarily always, as some conservatories, depending on the size and the size of the garden, fall within the permitted development rights). Additionally, when replacing windows and doors to fronts of properties within conservation areas, you may need to make an application (as some local authorities stipulate that only aluminium windows are allowed).

Our office staff and sales representatives will be happy to advise and assist you with any queries in this respect and will also provide CAD drawings and specifications of proposed products.

Scaffolding

We do not use scaffolding when installing our windows as they are internally glazed, therefore allowing all external work to be carried out from the inside prior to glazing. However, sometimes we may need to erect scaffolding for other reasons e.g. to protect the public in busy streets.
